Saving Mothers' Lives 2006 - 2008
04 March 2011 : Dublin
Venue: Gresham Hotel
A maternal death is a tragic event not only for the families of the mothers who die but also for those who care for and are involved directly and indirectly with the mother during her maternity. It is an outcome that we would all like to avoid.
The Saving Mothers' Lives conferences in March 2011 mark the launch of the lastest report which describes the factors underlying maternal deaths in the UK between 2006 and 2008. There are 4 events around the UK and Ireland which will help providers of maternity care and services, both at a national and a local level, to understand the implications for them and the services they provide for women in their care.
